Piet Eckert

Piet Eckert (born 1968 in Mumbai, India) is a Swiss architect.

He studied architecture at the ETH Zurich (Diploma 1994, with honorable mention)[1] and at the Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture in New York City. From 1995 until 1997, he worked at the Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA). Since 1997, he has been an independent architect in Zurich and in 2001 he founded E2A Architects with Wim Eckert.

Piet Eckert has taught at the Technical University of Delft in the Netherlands and at the ETH Zurich.[4] Most recently, he has been a visiting professor for Architecture and Sustainable Design at the HafenCity University in Hamburg.[5]
