Oral Göktaş
He graduated from Istanbul Technical University with degrees of Architect in 2005 and Master Architect in 2009. In 2007, together with Sevince Bayrak, he established the architectural office SO? He received awards in national and international competitions. His implemented projects were nominated for awards such as Mies Van Der Rohe and Aga Khan. In 2013, they were selected as the winner in the Young Architecture Program (YAP), which is a joint program of Istanbul Modern and MoMA / PS1, with their project titled Look at the Sky Stop. At the Royal Academy of Arts (London, 2015); Its projects were implemented in MAXXI (Rome, 2015) and Istanbul; His works called The Lost Barrier have been added to MAXXI’s permanent architecture collection. His recently completed projects are the Beylikdüzü Atatürk Cultural Center Building, the “Hope in the Water” project exhibited within the scope of the Istanbul Design Biennial, and the coop project implemented in the Palanga Architecture and Art Farm. Apart from these, she has been working as a part-time lecturer at MEF University since 2016. |
