born in Boston, Massachusetts in 1985. He completed his architectural education at the Architectural Association (AA) in London, graduating from the Diploma School in 2012. He worked at OMA – Office for Metropolitan Architecture in Rotterdam, Dubai, and New York for over five years, contributing to a wide range of international projects. In 2018, he was shortlisted as Young Architect of the Year by Middle East Architect magazine. He founded Building Office in 2007 and Reading Office in 2009 while still a student in London.
Aras has lived and worked in Istanbul, London, Dubai, Los Angeles, Boston, Rotterdam, and New York.
